Drew Barrymore was a vegetarian eating loads of carbs. Since cutting back on the carbs and adding more protein in her diet she has lost 20lb and kept it off.

Nicole Kidman tends to stick to the South Beach Diet, which has a nice balance of high-quality protein and complex carbs.
