Gerard Butler

Gerard Butler

Gerard Butler was spotted slow dancing with a mystery woman as if he was "at a middle school dance" over the weekend.

The Hollywood star's romantic life is legendary, with the 42-year-old having been linked to Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz in the past.

He's spent the last few days at the Coachella music festival in California, where he showed dating is still at the forefront of his mind. Gerard recently completed a stint in rehab and didn't drink any alcohol over the weekend, instead turning his attention to the ladies in attendance.

On Saturday he partied at the A/X Armani Exchange and T-Mobile Neon Carnival and was seen getting up close and personal with a brunette woman.

"The two were grinding like they were at a middle school dance," a source told New York Post. "He didn't seem to care who was watching."

Gerard and his new love interest decided against dancing in the middle of the busy bash, with the actor instead taking the lady outside so they could sway together on the pavement.

The pair spent the rest of the evening with each other and were seen having fun inside the party later on.

The event was one of the most star-studded of the weekend, with Jared Followill, Usher, Paris Hilton, Emma Roberts, Penn Badgley and Zo Kravitz all there.

Glee stars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith have also been spotted at the festival, adding fuel to the rumours they are dating as they were so affectionate with each other.
