Pippa Middleton could face arrest after her friend aimed a gun at photographers in Paris. The sister of Britain's Duchess Catherine was in the France over the weekend for a fancy dress party, and while in a soft-top car with some pals the driver pulled out the weapon and pointed it at the paparazzi, an arrestable offence in the country.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "If the evidence points to her involvement, she will be prosecuted. Anybody involved in the illegal use of a handgun in public is liable to arrest and interrogation."
The gun is believed to be real and brandishing it in a public place can lead to seven years in jail "for all parties involved" – even if it was fake, those involved could face two years of imprisonment. The source added: "Certainly if you were in a car and knew somebody was using a gun to warn people off you might be liable to arrest." The photographer the gun was aimed at is believed to be considering his options about making an official complaint to the police.
