Johnny used to be a boy but now he is a dayman! John Mayer recently apologized on behalf of his younger, more foolish, self for remarks he had made concerning ex-lovahs Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston. Two years ago the boy-man would make comments like: "[Jessica Simps] was like crack cocaine to me. Sexually, it was crazy. . . It was like napalm, sexual napalm." But now the older and more thoughtful Mayer would like you to know: "I had nothing to say. I was going through a time in my life where I didn't really want to share what was going on, but I didn't want to be boring… When you're just open, but not honest, then you start free-associating garbage. It doesn't mean I can go back and scrub it out, but I understand it now."
