After John Mayer's first vocal surgery, the singer has revealed to Showbiz Tonight he's undergoing another vocal surgery.
Mayer has a new album — Born and Raised — but unfortunately for us fans, it'll be the last one for quite some time.
Mayer said…
"I'll have to have another operation and rather than go straight into another one, I figured I would take a second and look around and, write a record and just catch my breath because it's just such a discipline — not the operation but what it takes after the operation, . It is a Zen lifestyle that follows for several months of no speaking. Make a list of all the things you like to eat and drink and those are the things you cannot eat or drink. And so, I had just finished doing that to no avail and so before I go and do it again, which I will, I just need to take a breather."
One of the things Mayer did to get into the Zen lifestyle was to move from Hollywood to Montana.
In part two of the John Mayer interview which airs tonight on HLN, he plans to reveal if his new song is really about Jennifer Aniston.
