Lupita Nyong’o – stunning
Lupita Nyong’o, one of the stars of 12 Years A Slave, looked fabulous on the red carpet at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards held in London last night, dressed in an emerald green Dior dress and matching shoes, but could her star be set to rise even further?
Although Lupita was just beaten for an award as one of the rising star nominees (by British actor Will Poulter who stars in We’re The Millers with Jennifer Aniston) fellow 12 Years a Slave star Chiwetel Ejiofor was named ‘best actor’ and its director Steve McQueen’s picked up the top prize of the night for ‘best film’.
The Baftas awards however, have often been an indicator of which films go on to win Academy Awards – the Oscars – that are awarded two weeks later in Hollywood. The best could be yet to come.
