Former Miss Alabama USA Katherine Webb was officially engaged to his longtime boyfriend AJ McCarron in Gulf Shores on Friday (March 28, 2014). The beautiful 24-year-old brunette beauty announced her engagement on Twitter after the 23-year-old star quarterback proposed to her with a gorgeous new diamond engagement ring. “WE’RE ENGAGEDDD!!! @10AJMcCarron,” Miss Webb tweeted along with a picture her embracing her soon-to-be groom. The bombshell also posted a photo of the stunning diamond ring up-close and said “He designed it himself.”
Katherine Webb and AJ McCarron started dating in 2012 after she graduated from interstate rival Auburn University. While the stunning model has had a pretty fruitful career as a swimsuit model, her boyfriend finished second in the Heisman trophy race in December 2013. The former University of Alabama quarterback is currently ranked fifth at his position heading into the 2014 NFL Draft by NFL Draft Countdown.

Katherine Webb, who has modeled for Sports Illustrated, rose to fame at the BCS National Championship game last year when sportscaster Brent Musburger took an extended period of time on the air to remark her beauty.
Katherine Webb was a contestant on ABC’s reality diving competition “Splash” but she had to withdraw in its fifth week due to a back injury. Meanwhile, her boyfriend AJ McCarron won two national titles as Alabama’s starting quarterback and finished second in the Heisman trophy race in December 2013.
