Jennifer Aniston has been forced to take a loss on her New York apartments just a few months after buying the properties, after deciding she wanted to move back to LA.

The 43-year-old has accepted a $6.5 million offer for the Manhattan homes after shelling out $7.01 million for the prime real estate last November.

Aniston is now living on a 8,500-sq.-ft. Bel Air estate with beau Justin Theroux,40, after performing a u-turn regarding her decision to relocate to her native East Coast.

Aniston's New York dream never took off, and after a short spell in a rental the pair are ensconced in the $21 million LA home, which has a vineyard, four bedrooms, a garden and views of the Pacific Ocean.

The former Friends star is looking forward to her year anniversary with Theroux, which is coming up in May.

The actress recently gushed about her beau while promoting their new film Wanderlust in the Australian issue of Marie Claire magazine.

'He's a protector, for sure,' she tells the publication. 'He's just a good human being, and so funny.'

The pair first fell in love while making Wanderlust in rural Georgia in 2010 and Aniston paints it as a blissful time for her.

She 'began decompressing' while on the secluded set.

She added: 'It's weird, but it felt like living a normal life; almost like having your anonymity back. Nobody bothered us and we were protected as a group.'

The former Friends star also spoke about filming topless scenes for Wanderlust, which disappointed at the US box office earlier this year.

'There are always nerves when you shoot a scene like that,' she admitted. 'But the adrenaline takes you through it and then you have the girls come in and cover you up immediately.'
